So what's new in Autumn/Winter 2011?
Currently I am involved in a dance project and intensive training/dance development! Therefore I am presently not teaching weekly classes, but am available for one-offs, private/group tuition and workshops etc. I am not revealing the details or nature of the dance work I am doing, but all will be apparent in due course...Watch this space.!!!
In my spare moments..ha ha, I am still working away on the soul vessels, two at present, one is Birch Spirit and the other Mother of unconditional Love and theres more to come. I am also producing a revised second edition of Celtic Tree Wisdom Cards and book. This one is intended for publication and is very rich indeed as it draws on the extensive experiences of doing readings from my first edition Celtic Trees and Tales. (full 79 set of wisdom guidance cards and book based on the tarot model). The first set are not for publication as they are my working tool. (some are in the section Celtic Trees and Tales on this site) and took 3 years to put together. (I have been reading from them for 3-4 years now usuallly with good results. i.e providing useful information/insights/advice for the clients.) This second edition will contain 25 based on the Celtic Tree Ogham and be oracle/wisdom and with an accompanying book. There will be all new illustrations too! I am still available for Card Readings including telephone and email as well as in person, (tinc Tarot parties, pamper parties with Sandra Ream of Willowbank Holistic Therapies of Lossiemouth and at Holistic Health of Lossiemouth) and Shamanic Healings.(see Shamanism).
On top of all that I am currently studying Sound on an Open University Course!!! Hibernation...no chance!
P.s Look out for the Winter Edition of The Sacred Hoop as I have a feature in it! (not out yet)

In August 2011 I qualified as a
Laughter Yoga Leader
hoo ho ha ha ha!!!
Laughing for no reason i.e without the need for jokes ...all for good for health! Yep it's true!!!
In April 2011, I left Scotland and headed to the states to further my studies in Tribal Belly Dance. It was a great adventure and I was away for a month, but this included a holiday too when my family flew over post the training. The training was undertaken in Clatskanine, Portland, Oregon on the west coast with Paulette Rees Denis the founder and director of Tribal Belly Dance Company Gypsy Caravan and was a fabulous experience on so many levels, the dance, the people, the place. I qualified in my dance studies as A collective Soul 2 dancer and Teacher Training 2 and the picture shows both graduates, Paulette and Gypsy caravan dancer Carol Vance.
April was a busy month for me as I also did the Zumba Instructor training in East Kilbride in Scotland. This was great fun and I am set to start taking Zumba classes from June 16th 2011, so if you fancy giving this great new fitness craze a go, then join me.....the line is ditch the work out and join the party!!! If you don't know what it is, Zumba combines fitness with dance, heavily Latin American but with a great fusion of many international styles, (inc Belly Dance and Bhangra!) with the philosophy of accessibility to all....no experience required in dance or fitness, just the desire to get fitter whilst having fun to great upbeat music! (and it does really help shift un wanted body fat and tone you up at the same time. Classes are popular, so make sure you get there early to get your place!!!
Above is from a feature about me in The January edition of The Knock News
This is me as the Celtic Goddess Brighid. It accompanies along with some other pictures a feature about Imbolc and Brighid in the February Knock News. (feature to be posted soon!!)
